Meghann is the owner/ founder of Child Therapy Halton.
She holds a Master's of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology and is
a Registered Psychotherapist (RP). She is licensed to practice the controlled act of Psychotherapy in the province of Ontario and is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Meghann is also a clinical supervisor and provides clinical supervision.
Meghann has over 10 years working in Children & Adolescent Mental Health.
She specialized training in Play Therapy (through the Canadian Association for Play Therapy), as well as extensive training and experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults with developmental disabilities. She is trained in and utilizes a variety of Psychotherapy modalities.
Prior to becoming a Registered Psychotherapist, Meghann worked in Child Welfare, working closely with foster children and foster parents to provide ongoing training, support, and coaching. In addition to experience working front line with children, teens, and individuals with developmental disabilities in residential care settings.

Julie holds a Masters in Social Work and is a Certified Child Life Specialist. She is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, which qualifies her to practice the controlled act of psychotherapy.
Child Life Specialists are trained in child development and therapeutic play, and work to help children, youth and families understand and cope with a variety of life and health related stressors including hospitalization, illness and grief.

Kerrie holds a Master's in Social Work. She is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, which qualifies her to practice the controlled act of psychotherapy. Kerrie has extensive experience working with children, youth, young adults and their parents. She also has extensive experience working with youth and families involved in competitive sports and the unique pressures that come with this.

Gavynn holds a Master's in Social Work. They are registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), which qualifies them to practice the controlled act of psychotherapy in the province of Ontario. They have extensive psychotherapy training and experience working with youths. Gavynn has lived experience as a queer, transmasculine, autistic person, with ADHD. This allows them to connect with clients from these communities and understand their specific needs.
