Meghann is the owner/ founder of Child Therapy Halton. She holds a Master's of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP). She is licensed to practice the controlled act of Psychotherapy in the province of Ontario and is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Meghann is also a clinical supervisor and provides clinical supervision and clinical consultation.
Meghann has over 12 years working in Children & Adolescent Mental Health.
She has specialized training in Play Therapy (through the Canadian Association for Play Therapy), as well as extensive training and experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults with developmental disabilities. She is trained in and utilizes a variety of Psychotherapy modalities.
Prior to becoming a Registered Psychotherapist, Meghann worked in Child Welfare, working closely with foster children and foster parents to provide ongoing training, support, and coaching. In addition to experience working front line with children, teens, and individuals with developmental disabilities in residential care settings. She continues to offer professional training and development in these areas and has consultation partnerships with several community agencies and programs.

Kerrie holds a Master's in Social Work. She is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, which qualifies her to practice the controlled act of psychotherapy. Kerrie has extensive experience working with children, youth, young adults and their parents. She also has extensive experience working with youth and families involved in competitive sports and the unique pressures that come with this.

Niamh has completed her Masters of Arts degree (MA) in Counselling Psychology. Prior to which, she obtained an Honours Bachelor degree in Psychology. Niamh is a Registered Psychotherapist - Qualifying (RP-Qualifying). She is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), which qualifies her to practice the controlled act of psychotherapy (under supervision) in the province of Ontario.
Niamh has a passion for helping children navigate emotional and behavioural challenges. Niamh has experience working with neurodiverse children and their families in both school and recreational settings, in addition to psychotherapy. She also has training in crisis management and trauma-informed care through her position as a volunteer crisis responder for the Halton Region Police Service.
Niamh integrates evidence-based practices with a warm, person-centred and strengths-based approach, focusing on creating a safe and supportive environment for her clients. She is committed to working collaboratively with clients and their families to foster resilience and promote mental well-being.

Tania is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Windsor and brings experience supporting children, adolescents, and families in both clinical and community-based settings.
Tania is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)and Narrative Therapy through Wilfrid Laurier University and integrates these approaches within a trauma-informed, strength-based, and client-centred framework. Her therapy style is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive, and she is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Before joining Child Therapy Halton, Tania worked extensively in child welfare and educational settings, most recently as a Child Protection Worker on the Complex Needs Team at Peel Children’s Aid Society. She has significant experience working with children and youth facing emotional regulation challenges, trauma, neurodiversity, and complex family dynamics. Her background also includes working in Section 23 programs, residential care, and with students requiring intensive behavioural and developmental supports. Tania is passionate about helping children and families navigate life transitions, build emotional resilience, and strengthen their communication and coping skills.

Nicole is certified with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) to provide psychotherapy and holds the title of a Registered (Qualifying) Psychotherapist. She received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology.
Nicole inherently wants to see her clientele thrive; she does this by first making them feel safe, heard and understood, then by providing them with the support, awareness and the tools needed to tackle the challenges they are facing. She approaches therapy collaboratively with her clients to ensure goal alignment and understanding towards the steps being taken, as she believes awareness and the desire to change/grow is a core component.
Prior to joining Child Therapy Halton, Nicole practiced as a general psychotherapist and treated varying concerns. She has worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults and older adults as a psychotherapist and previously across differing roles such as a support worker, distress line operator and psychology/neuroscience researcher. This purposeful role exposure allowed Nicole to develop a holistic view of human development and a strong drive to utilize evidence-based approaches in her work. Nicole has significant experience working with individuals with learning and developmental disabilities and has a passion for working with individuals with ADHD. Nicole is a strong advocate for psychoeducation and self-compassion, emphasizing building self-understanding and self-acceptance.

Monica is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She also holds a Bachelor of Education and brings over 15 years of experience working in education. Her transition from teaching (grades 4- 12) into psychotherapy was a natural progression of her commitment to helping youth build self-awareness, confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being. She has developed a deep appreciation for the unique emotional, academic, and social challenges that young people face.
Monica approaches her work with compassion and curiosity, creating a non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to share their thoughts and experiences freely. Drawing from her educational and clinical background, Monica integrates both evidence-based and client-centred approaches, tailoring her work to each client’s unique needs. Her goal is to help children and adolescents feel seen, understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
